Solution:

On Mac open System Preferences. then go to Security & Privacy tab. Click the lock at the bottom to make changes. Enter your password. Then allow Adobe-Zii.

Or open Terminal to disable Mac Gatekeeper for Adobe Zii only this time.

Hit Command–Space bar then type Terminal and hit Enter

In the Terminal window, to disable Gatekeeper type: sudo spctl –master-disable

Enter your password and hit Enter

Run Adobe-Zii

To enable Gatekeeper again type: sudo spctl –master-enable

( To check Gatekeeper status type: spctl –status )

Rename Adobe Zii.app to —–> AdobeZii.app Without spaces

Open Terminal, Paste this:
sudo chmod -R 777 (Your directory)
example: /Users/username/Desktop/AdobeZii.app

Right Click and Run, Done!

  • Open terminal
  • Type sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine (note space at end of line)
  • Drag Zii into the terminal window
  • Enter your password
  • Done.

for those who can’t run v6.1.5 try below:
Open Terminal and run the command:

xattr -cr //AppName.app

^^ if “Adobe Zii 2021 6.1.5.app” is saved to the Applications folder, then you have to type:
xattr -cr /Applications/Adobe Zii 2021 6.1.5.app

OR

Run rhis command on terminal xattr -cr “zii location”
Example: xattr -cr /user/desktop/Adobe Zii 2021 6.1.5.app

SIMPLE INSTALLATION PROCESS

  2. Please close all of the adobe running applications before doing next step.
  3. Then Download Adobe Patcher Zii from this website and open it.
  4. Move it to application forder and rename it to AdobeZii20216.1.5

  6. Paste ” sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/AdobeZii20216.1.5.app ”

  1. ⁠Create a folder on the desktop named AdobeZii
  2. ⁠Right click on the original AdobeZii application, and show content
  3. ⁠Copy the folder “Contents” and paste it in the folder you created on the desktop (AdobeZii)
  4. ⁠Change the name of the folder AdobeZii to AdobeZii.app
  5. ⁠Run it normally 😉

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Open the main .dmg, click into the folder and then drag that Application file to your applications.
  • Rename that file some without any “.”s so I just call it “Zii”.
  • Right click and hold ‘option’ click “Copy Zii as Pathname”
  • Open Terminal and type “xattr -cr ” (notice there’s a space before & after “-cr”) and then press CMD+V (pasting the pathname) and click enter.
  • Now when you open the application it should work.
