I'm an Apollo Twin USB user and now bought an Apollo 8 since thunderbolt has come to windows.
Formerly I was running Jack audio router for routing system audio through Apollo Twin USB.
There were ASIO outputs available for ASIO enabled applications(e.g., Jack and foobar2k) with Apollo Twin USB.
When it comes to Apollo 8 thunderbolt, it seems ASIO can only be read from DAW application neither Jack nor foobar2k.
Is this going to be solved in a future driver or is it limitation so long as Apollo using thunderbolt?
I hope UA could make an answer in ways like equipping a WDM dedicated channel strip in Apollo console and either enabling ASIO for non-DAW applications.
After grumbling above, Apollo series are still incredible interfaces as it works excellent with major DAWs
